The Arthur Ravenel Bridge, which was completed in 2005, is an eight lane highway over Cooper River that takes you from Mount Pleasant to to the City Charleston. At the foot of it, in Mount Pleasant, is Patriot's Point, a naval and maritime museum, home to the World War II aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, which is now a museum ship.
