Charleston is #2 for Top Destinations in the U.S....AGAIN!

For the EIGHTEENTH consecutive year, Condé Nast Traveler magazine made Charleston a “Top 10” travel destination in the U.S. Charleston got the #2 slot - beaten by San Francisco by .04 of one point! This ranking maintains Charleston’s spot as the No. 1 east coast destination. Woo Hoo Charleston, you gorgeous thing, you...As for more credit to this historical city and its surrounding areas, here's what else popped up on the list: 

Kiawah Island: #1 island in North America.

The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort: #3 in the Top 100 Resorts in the Mainland U.S. category and 29th on the Best in the World list.

In the list of top 100 hotels in the U.S, Charleston also had a piece of the pie: having the Charleston Place Hotel, French Quarter Inn, Planters Inn and Market Pavilion Hotel.

We also made the Top 40 Small Hotels in the U.S. with  the John Rutledge House Inn and the Wentworth Mansion.
